You must have heard about the sexiest man and world's most handsome man, but have you ever heard about the most handsome faces in the world? Well, there is a list, compiled by the world's top most, that features 10 most handsome faces in the world.

Actor Tom Cruise has topped the list of most handsome faces in the world. The 54-year-old actor has topped the list, thanks to the good looks he has maintained throughout the years. Second in the list is the Twilight star Robert Pattinson. The British actor, who is popular for his character Edward Cullen from the Twilight series, has taken the slot in the second most handsome faces in the world list.
Bollywood heartthrob Hrithik Roshan, who is often called as Greek God of Bollywood, has made it in the third spot. The Dhoom 2 actor took the third slot, after beating celebrities like Brad Pitt, Hugh Jackman and Johnny Depp.
Fourth in the list is Pirates of the Caribbean actor Johnny Depp, followed by Taylor Swift's ex-boyfriend and Thor actor Tom Hiddleston.
Surprisingly, the sixth celebrity in the list includes Omar Borkan Al Gala, who shot to fame in 2013 after reports claimed that he was deported from Saudi Arabia for being "too handsome." In 2013, Al Gala became an internet sensation with photos of him going viral on social media platform, including Facebook and Twitter.
The seventh in the list is another Bollywood actor, who is currently the king of the box office. Salman Khan, who is one of the top actors in Bollywood, is the seventh celebrity in most handsome faces list. Brad Pitt, who is currently in the news for the divorce, child custody and alleged affair with Allied co-star Marion Cotillard, is the eight celebrity in the most handsome faces list.
The ninth celebrity on the list is the 48-year-old The Wolverine actor Hugh Jackman. Last but not least is the 21-year-old actor Billy Unger, who changed his name to William Brent ahead of the release of Lab Rats: Elite Force.

ISRO heralds Space renaissance in India

"This is just the start. Businesses that use the applications of space exploration to create socially relevant products have the potential to bring about a large number of jobs in India as well as accelerate societal impact," adds Narayan. Photo credit: ISRO
At a time when no distance is too far, chalking out missions to the moon or idle talk of colonizing Mars are upending dinner table conversations. From cautious crawls to risky leaps, humanity has traversed many years to reach this milestone, the scope of which is being broadened with remarkable frequency.

ISRO's latest feat of launching 104 satellites on a single rocket may have set off a big bang of congratulatory messages from the world over including SpaceX founder Elon Musk, but what is notable is that its growing list of accomplishments is opening up the space for more star-gazing enterprises to explore more as they aim to shoot for the moon and beyond.

Moonshot

One such group, that goes by the name of Team Indus, has captured the imagination and attention of not just space aficionados, but sceptics in the space too. The Bangalore-based aerospace engineers under the startup Axiom Research Labs is the only Indian team in the final five competing to be the first privately-funded entity to moonshot as it readies itself for a monumental space mission later this year. As part of the $30 million Google Lunar X-Prize, winners of this global contest will get a chance to land their spacecraft on the moon to broadcast data and high definition multimedia back to Earth.

"Space as a subject has always appealed to people's curiosity, precisely because there is so much more to be discovered and explored. However, there is no contesting the fact that lately there has been a lot more talk around this and several reasons can be attributed to this development," says co-founder of Team Indus, Rahul Narayan. "The rise of entrepreneurship in space-based services today can be credited with re-injecting a sense of adventure. Added to this, the emergence and success of people like Elon Musk and their canvas of dreams has been instrumental in bringing back that interest today," he adds.

Space for more

In another part of the city, four-year-old Dhruva Space has become the first company in the country to design and manufacture satellites. With a larger aim of leading the privatisation of the satellite industry in India, the startup is currently developing an indigenous small satellite platform with primary focus on assembly, integration, testing and operation.

"People are beginning to understand that space is not just an elitist dream, but rather part of a critical infrastructure," feels co-founder, Narayan Prasad. "At the end of the day, the much-needed connectivity that can strengthen rural pockets of the country can never come from anything that is not in space," he adds.

To infinity and beyond

While the genesis and goals of the two startups are poles apart, what unites them is the spirit of collaboration with which they launched into the entrepreneurial ecosystem. Both Axiom and Dhruva are working closely with the most consistent operator in this industry in the country to meet their respective vocations. ISRO, on its part, is also increasing its engagement with private companies for satellite building and space research, among others.

"Collaboration is the name of the game - look at how humanity has benefitted from ventures like the International Space Station," argues Naraynan, whose startup currently has eight former ISRO veterans working together with young engineers. "We stand on the shoulders of giants like ISRO and would love to work more closely with the organization to help change the economics of the industry in India," he adds. Team Indus has a commercial contract with ISRO for the launch of its spacecraft, whereby its Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle (PSLV) XL will inject it into the Earth's lower orbit.

Dhruva's satellites are also expected to be launched on ISRO's PSLV. In fact, in his recently launched book 'Space India 2.0', Prasad has written in great length about how the development of India's space industry started with ISRO helping entrepreneurs kick off small and medium scale enterprises by providing technology and buy-back opportunities, while encouraging spin-offs. "Today, the landscape of the Indian industry that serves ISRO includes about 500 of these SMEs," he adds.

Lost in space

These developments notwithstanding, Divyanshu Poddar, founder of model rocketry startup Rocketeers, sounds a word of caution against the direction these advancements are taking India's primary space agency.

"ISRO is reaping the benefits of the path-breaking work initiated during the 80s, but it is slowly turning into a manufacturing unit whose sole purpose is to build PSLV and satellites and launch them," says the 26-year-old former ISRO engineer. "It should not be like that. Focus should now shift to outsourcing manufacturing jobs and operations of PSLV to private industries so that ISRO can concentrate on R&D and on developing research modules like Mangalyaan," he adds.

On the right trajectory?

Despite all the dialogue and discourse around space in India today, Prasad strongly feels that merely acknowledging its merits on paper is not good enough. "Digital India does not even recognise satellites as a means to digital connectivity - it finds absolutely no mention in the text of the programme," he says. "A popular World Bank research says that a country's GDP can potentially go up by 1.8% if Internet connectivity is increased by 10%. It is a travesty then that India does not even have a National Space Policy that can take us down this road and expand India's participation in this $300-billion industry," he adds.

"The government has consistently increased ISRO's budget year after year, but no such initiative has been taken to promote startups," says co-founder of Earth2Orbit, Susmita Mohanty. "Most of these companies are bootstrapped and their revenues, however modest, come from sources abroad," she adds.

The Rs 10,000 crore fund of funds announced by the government in its Startup India programme could have been one such initiative for an industry that does not see a lot of investment activity, but its deployment remains a challenge.

"Space is not exactly the business one invests in for immediate returns," says Narayan. "It takes time for investments in space to pay off, but when it does, unusually large multiples are involved," he adds. "Many investors admit that this is not a space that they understand," adds Prasad, which compelled him to put some of his own money into the business initially.

Both also agree that not many institutional investors are knowledgeable about the sector either. "Not many people have made money investing in this space and that could explain why they keep their distance," feels Prasad. Even with a company like Team Indus, their investment has been driven by HNIs. "This attitude will hopefully change sooner than later and efforts like ours will have to catalyse that shift," he adds.

It's rocket science!

Although companies like Axiom and Dhruva are slowly becoming part of the growing vortex of privately-funded startups in space services in India, Poddar strongly feels that some of the other companies are expressing reluctance in joining them. "Take the example of Reliance Aerospace or Mahindra Aerospace for instance. Both want to actively participate in PSLV operations but ISRO is unable to provide contracts stating the number of launches they have planned. Private companies need more support from these institutions since they will need some kind of risk offset, which they are currently not getting from ISRO," he says.

According to Poddar, discussions around privatising PSLV comes every five years - it happened last in 2012-13 - but it never follows through because of heavy regulatory hurdles. "A lot of delicensing and deregulation needs to happen in terms of policies," says Poddar.

Go on with a big bang

For Prasad, however, the most critical part of the puzzle is to create a new space ecosystem in India. "The road is open for anyone to tread on. The Olas and Ubers did not have a regulatory framework when they started off and only when they reached a certain point did the government feel the need to bring in some regulation. This model can also be replicated for space, but before that could happen, it needs to grow and rise up to a level," he says.

"This is just the start. Businesses that use the applications of space exploration to create socially relevant products have the potential to bring about a large number of jobs in India as well as accelerate societal impact," adds Narayan. "The potential is immense and reminiscent of the IT revolution in India. We hope more of the best minds in India will make their move into space-based entrepreneurship going forward," he signs off.

Elections 2017 Uttar pradesh Assembly Elections 2017 - BJP,Modi & Yogi Adityanath

Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections, UP chief minister, Yogi Adityanath, New UP CM, BJP, Keshav Prasad Maurya, Manoj Sinha, Gorakhpur, Lok Sabha Member, UP CM News, Yogi Adityanath Profile Uttar pradesh assembly elections 2017: From firebrand Lok Sabha member to state CM, all you need to know about Yogi Adityanath. In the aftermath of much anticipated Uttar Pradesh chief ministerial candidate, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is likely to settle for its firebrand Lok Sabha member from Gorakhpur, Yogi Adityanath.

In the aftermath of much anticipated Uttar Pradesh chief ministerial candidate, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is likely to settle for its firebrand Lok Sabha member from Gorakhpur, Yogi Adityanath. In the run for the CM post of the politically crucial Uttar Pradesh, various names including Junior telecom minister Manoj Sinha, Home Minister Rajnath Singh, party’s state president Keshav Prasad Maurya were doing the rounds as the 32nd chief minister of the state. However, the ongoing waves hints that Adityanath has taken a lead in the race of CM. So, who is Yogi Adityanath? What made him the ideal choice for the CM post? Let’s have a look at his journey so far:

Born on June 5, 1972, Mahanth Yogi Adityanath is a fifth time Member of Parliament from Gorakhpur constituency in UP. He is a BJP Member of Parliament who has represented Gorakhpur in the Lok Sabha since 1998. Adityanath is the Mahant (head priest) of the Gorakhnath Mutt, a Hindu temple in Gorakhpur, following the death of his spiritual father Mahant Avaidyanath in September 2014. Adityanath is also the founder of the ‘Hindu Yuva Vahini’, a social, cultural and nationalist group of youth that aims to provide rightist Hindu platform.

Adityanath was one of the youngest members of the 12th Lok Sabha at 26. He has been elected as an MP from Gorakhpur to the Lok Sabha in the 1998, 1999, 2004, 2009 and 2014 elections. He is the successor to former Hindu Mahasabha president Mahant Avaidyanath at the Gorakhnath temple. Adityanath is a B. Sc. graduate from the H.N.B. Garhwal University.

Adityanath is also known for some major controversies and some derogatory remarks on various sensitive issues related to caste and religion. In 2005, Adityanath allegedly led a purification move which involved the conversion of Christians to Hinduism. In one such instance, 1,800 Christians were reportedly converted to Hinduism in the town of Etah in Uttar Pradesh during this time.

In January 2007, an altercation occurred amidst a Hindu group and Muslims during a Muharram procession in Gorakhpur which led to the hospitalisation of a young Hindu, Raj Kumar Agrahari. The District Magistrate later restricted Adityanath to visit the site as it may inflame tensions. He initially agreed, but after Agrahari died, he disobeyed the magistrate and travelled to the site with a group of his followers. Adityanath started a non-violent dharna on the site. However, inflammatory speeches were made and some of his followers set fire to a nearby mazaar (Muslim mausoleum). A curfew was implemented by the local police, but Adityanath broke it and was subsequently jailed under Section 151A, Sections 146, 147, 279, 506 of the Indian Penal Code.

He was taken into custody for a fortnight, on charges of disturbing peace. His arrest led to further unrest and later several coaches of the Mumbai-Gorakhpur Godan Express were burnt, allegedly by protesting Hindu Yuva Vahini activists. The day after his arrest, the District Magistrate along with the local police chief, were transferred and replaced.

This was widely perceived as a result of “Adityanath’s clout’ with the Uttar Pradesh government of Mulayam Singh Yadav. The tensions soon escalated to riots across Gorakhpur leading to the burning of several mosques, homes, buses and trains. After his release, Adityanath protested his jailing in the Parliament.

During an intolerance debate in the media, Adityanath had also compared Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan to a Pakistani terrorist Hafiz Saeed. Speaking to the media he said, “Shah Rukh Khan should remember that majority population of the country made him the star, and if they boycot his films, he will also have to wander on streets. It is unfortunate SRK is speaking the same language that of Hafiz Saeed.”

North Korea, US, Japan and Russia - North Korea crisis: Putin and Abe call for talks

Russian President Vladimir Putin (L) shakes hands with Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe (R) during their meeting at the Kremlin in Moscow, Russia, 27 April 2017Russia's Vladimir Putin has called for the resumption of talks with North Korea as tensions on the peninsula continue to escalate.
Speaking in Moscow, where he met Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, he urged those involved to "refrain from using belligerent rhetoric".
Mr Putin said both wanted to see "peaceful, constructive dialogue" between the opposing parties.

Relations between North Korea and the US have plunged in recent weeks.
The two countries have traded angry words and threats as North Korean leader Kim Jong-un persists with missile tests, despite repeated warnings to stop.
This week, the US announced it was set to activate a missile defense system in South Korea "within days", and tighten sanctions against the secretive state.
What missiles does North Korea have?
t came after President Donald Trump announced the US was sending a naval carrier group to patrol the Korean peninsula.
North Korea, meanwhile, threatened to launch a "super-mighty pre-emptive strike" against what it called US aggression.
North Korea is also believed to be on the verge of conducting another nuclear bomb test.
Washington fears it could develop a nuclear device small enough to fit on a long-range missile which could reach the US, though some experts say this is some way off.
But if North Korea did decide to launch a missile attack, neighbours South Korea and Japan could be targeted.
North Korean missile range
Mr Abe is keen to ensure the situation does not deteriorate further.
Speaking on Thursday, Mr Putin said: "In my opinion, and in the opinion of the prime minister, the situation on the Korean peninsula has unfortunately got a lot worse.
"We call on all governments involved in regional matters to refrain from using belligerent rhetoric and to strive for peaceful constructive dialogue."

Worlds Best PC Game - The best open world games

We're living in a golden age of sprawling and exciting open world games.

We're in a golden age of open world games, sprawling sandboxes where player choice rules above all else. Sure, there are stories, quests, missions, and goals, but players are free to complete them at their own pace. From fantasy realms to simulated galaxies, from modern cities to post-apocalyptic wastelands, the best open world games give players the freedom to choose their own path—to do what they want, when they want—and provide an interesting and rewarding setting for their self-guided adventures.

Here are the best open world games on PC.

Forza Horizon 3

Forza Horizon 3 is a racing game, but it's not only a racing game. It's a huge, sprawling, beautiful sandbox full of city streets, pristine beaches, lush forests, and dusty deserts representing a condensed but still sizable slice of Australia's Outback. Its vast and varied terrain gives us lots to do: races, challenges, stunt jumps, collectible hunts, not to mention hundreds of cars to play with. Forza Horizon 3 is the best of an already excellent series in terms of size, scope, variety, and enjoyment.

Stalker: Shadow of Chernobyl

In Stalker, the open world is your enemy. Gamma pockets, anomalies and radioactive storms can end you in moments. Any building can hide scavengers or horrifying mutated creatures. Ammo and armour is scarce, and you’re lost in a wasteland so bleak as to be almost completely alienating. But as the Stalkers know, the Zone has a strange allure. Explore the blasted husks of Ukranian factories and apartment blocks, and try not to be too unnerved by the lifeless quiet. After a while, Stalker’s desolation becomes beautiful.

Grand Theft Auto 5

This is what money is for: creating a kind of pastiche of a real-world location that’s so staggeringly accurate in atmosphere and details that it’s actually better than being in the real thing. Los Santos represents the meticulous approach Rockstar gave to the compact Liberty City in GTA 4 and brought it to the scale of 2004’s San Andreas—and the result is an open world of such a high standard that it’ll only likely be topped by Rockstar itself. Between GTA 5's strong multi-protagonist campaign and the mad playground of GTA Online, there’s well over 100 hours of chases and gunfights across land, air and sea for those who want it here.

GTA 5 is also highly moddable. Here's our list of the best mods for Grand Theft Auto 5.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt

An outstanding technological achievement, The Witcher 3 is the vanguard of a new wave of open world games able to leverage the power of modern gaming systems to create environments of extraordinary detail and scope. The bogs of Velen are a moody aperitif that primes you for the bustle of Novigrad and the sweeping forests of the nordic Skellige region—one of the most beautiful game locations ever.

You can spend hours sailing around those islands, stumbling upon quests, breaking curses, killing monsters and playing Gwent with rowdy locals. The Witcher 3’s towns are noisy, bustling places that make other open world towns seem lifeless by comparison. It’s a pleasure to simply pick a direction and walk—the hallmark of a great open world.

Here's our list of the best mods for The Witcher 3.

Elite: Dangerous

Few open world games are as open, and vast, as that of Elite: Dangerous. Fly your spaceship through the entirety of the simulated Milky Way, battling pirates (or becoming one), mining asteroids, transporting and trading goods, or simply exploring undiscovered stars, planets, and systems. Whether you choose to play solo or join a connected online galaxy with other players, you're sure to find adventure among Elite's 400 billion star systems. You might even run into a few aliens.

Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag

Assassin's Creed's jauntiest outing since 2, Black Flag masterfully combines toe-to-toe swashbuckling with sailing in a luminous Caribbean archipelago. Tiny islands, whales, forts and colonial armadas provide the variety on the ocean, and the sizeable islands host traditional free-running Assassin's Creed action. After a poor third entry in the series, Black Flag was a salty lungful of fresh air.

The cities are smaller and the plot is nonsense, but few games can match the excitement of smashing a port. You crack the walls open from the ocean with cannon fire before seamlessly freerunning through the shattered battlements, hunting the commander with a brace of loaded pistols. It’s exactly the sort of action that open worlds do brilliantly. Top storms, too.

The Elder Scrolls 3: Morrowind

Hiking across Morrowind is a lot like visiting one of those replica Victorian streets—yes, it's a bit brown, the technology is antiquated and for some reason everything smells of must—but it feels so real. A glimpse into another world frozen in time, alien and yet familiar. Morrowind bridges the divide between modern, polished but impersonal 3D blockbusters and the peculiar, characterful roleplaying games of yesteryear. With efforts such as OpenMW and Skywind to bring Morrowind into the modern era, there may be life in it still. Large enough to get lost in and stuffed to the brim with little details, the island of Vvardenfell continues to entice and enthrall today as it did 15 years ago.

Metal Gear Solid 5

Metal Gear Solid 5 only truly comes into its own as an open world game when you stop using the helicopter to get to every mission, and work your way through each of the two massive landscapes (Afghanistan, and the Angola-Zaire border) picking off Side Ops like an RPG. Kojima Productions’ stealth action game encourages true freedom of approach, and its progression systems properly reward the player, too. You start by headshotting enemies with a rubbish pistol and end by dragging enemies towards you with a magic robot hand, sticking tanks on balloons, and calling in airstrikes on bears. Great game or greatest game?

Starbound

With quests, combat, boss fights, exploration, survival, mining, crafting, building, and interplanetary space travel, Starbound packs a ton of things to do into its charming 2D pixelated universe. Whether you're digging deep into a planet's surface, jetting off to discover new solar systems, or constructing a quiet little town and populating it with friendly NPCs, you'll find Starbound's world—worlds—an inviting and fascinating place to spend countless hours.

Check out our list of the best mods for Starbound

Just Cause 2

Not exactly the deepest of the games on this list, but one of the most empowering, exciting, and silly. Rarely has such a huge and beautiful open world felt like a true playground, and with a grappling hook and infinite parachutes to swiftly navigate the lush and tropical island, it's always playtime. Your boots will barely touch the ground before you're careening through the air again, zipping from place to place amid chaos and destruction. Just Cause 3's world may have been bigger, but this one is definitely better.

Mad Max

There's a certain dismal beauty to a destroyed and decaying world, and the wasteland of Mad Max is filled with horrible, yet still somehow lovely sights. From blasted industrial landscapes to desolate deserts to lakes of toxic sludge, the world is a dangerous and atmospheric place to explore. Plus, you get to drive through it all in a souped-up car, spike-covered as you battle roving gangs of War Boys, Buzzards, and other psychopathic speedfreaks. While Mad Max gets a bit repetitive, and it's not as much fun when you have to get out of your car and fight on foot, its open world is still provides hours of high-octane fun.

Saints Row 4

A delightfully silly satire on games, don’t let Saints Row 4’s slightly dull city put you off. Powers like superhuman speed, Hulk-like jumps and a range of comedy guns and wrestling moves mean this is the closest thing to Crackdown you can find on PC, except it’s better, because it has jokes. It also has an inflato-ray that puffs up enemies until they pop, and a Dubstep gun that changes firing pattern depending on the costume you give it. Based on this information, you've probably already decided whether to give it a try or not.

Westerado: Double Barreled

Don't let its looks fool you: Westerado is an open world game, and one that allows more freedom than just about any other ever made. The story is always the same—you're searching for the desperado who murdered your family—but the identity of this outlaw changes every time you play. As you explore the dusty Western world, searching for your target, you can go where you like and do what you want, including accusing anyone, at anytime, of being the killer. You can even draw your gun and shoot any NPC you meet, even in the middle of a conversation. Be a hero, or a scoundrel, or something in between. The choice is entirely yours.

Fallout 4

A brown post-nuclear wasteland ought to be boring, but the decades Bethesda has spent refining the same open world formula pays off in Fallout 4. While not as groundbreaking as its predecessors, the absorbing world serves as a battleground for Boston’s warring NPCs. Diamond City defenders fight running battles through the outskirts of the city, while in the wilderness raiders bully settlers and the mutated wildlife attacks anything it thinks it can eat.

With the exception of Minecraft, this is the only game on the list that gives players some control over the landscape. Liberate settlements and you can melt down their possessions to build towns with luxuries like running water and turret systems to keep the wastelanders out. Because it’s based on an advanced version of the Creation engine that powered Skyrim and Oblivion, it’s a modder’s paradise.

Of course, it's even better with mods. Here's our list of the best mods for Fallout 4.

Dwarf Fortress

The best game ever made, if you can learn how to play it. Like Minecraft, Dwarf Fortress can generate a planet in moments. It goes further than using erosion patterns to plot realistic river routes, or using geology to weave skeins of ore into the crust in believable patterns. Its models builds whole societies—heroes, battles, wars and religious beliefs included. Sometimes a society won’t even survive the world creation process. Instead you come across their abandoned halls as you manage your fortress, or encounter their ruins in DF’s roleplaying mode. The ASCII interface is offputting to some, and it’s best played with some aids, but this is the most advanced open world generators available, and it’s still being updated with new features and behavioural tweaks.

Sunless Sea

It’s easy to equate open world games with absolute freedom and carefree fun—an assumption that Sunless Sea leaves shipwrecked on the jagged rocks surrounding its oppressive eponymous ocean. An intriguing narrative and difficult (sometimes cruel) gameplay result in a lesson in humility and character building not often seen in the other games in this list. More eldritch than escapist, it’s an acquired taste and not for those who don’t like (lots of) reading—but with an undersea expansion pack there’s always something tugging you back to its darkly humorous, moodily scintillating seascape.

Far Cry 4

Since Far Cry 2, the series has encouraged gunfights across sprawling open world locations, from Africa, to the tropics, and the Himalayas. Far Cry 2’s setting, systems-driven approach to action sequences, and the interesting buddy system made it a critic’s darling. It’s still great, but Far Cry’s stealth systems have improved since then, and the addition of co-op and some spectacular mountainous terrain in Far Cry 4 earns it a place on this list.

The series has become more refined with each entry, and 3 and 4 have wisely focused on giving players a generous scattering of outposts to conquer. These open-ended challenges give you license to improvise with a varied armoury or chain together stealth kills in close combat. Like its predecessors, Far Cry 4 has some of the best dynamic fire in any game as well. That only adds to the carnage when things inevitably go wrong.

Minecraft

What if an open world wasn’t just a challenge to be survived, but a bedrock on which to build a world of your own? Many games have tried to emulate Minecraft over the years. Some, like Terraria and Starbound, have done a great job, but the original is a generation-defining work that’s still growing with every update. As a survival game it’s relatively crude, but it’s an incredible building game, and players have used Minecraft’s creator tools to build extraordinary things. Minecraft isn’t just a great open world game, it’s a cultural phenomenon.

Mount & Blade: Warband

It may not be the prettiest world, but the sheer amount of freedom in Mount & Blade: Warband makes up for the lack of production value. Crisscross a map dotted with medieval villages, towns, and castles, and assemble armies of allies (or go it alone) as you do battle on foot or horseback. The combat is some of the most enjoyable and intense on PC, and you can truly choose your own path. Complete quests, side with any faction you want, and become ruler of one and acquire vassals—or just romp around looking for trouble. A healthy and creative mod community means you can expand your adventures into the world of The Game of Thrones, the Star Wars universe, and plenty more.

Narendra Modi - US Washington all set to approve India's purchase of Guardian drones, a first for non-NATO nation
The Indian Navy wants the unarmed surveillance drones to keep watch over the Indian Ocean. ReutersThe United States is expected to approve India's purchase of a naval variant of the Predator drone, a source familiar with the situation said, as Prime Minister Narendra Modi tries to revitalize relations with Washington when he meets President Donald Trump for the first time.
Securing agreement on the purchase of 22 unarmed drones is seen in New Delhi as a key test of defense ties that flourished under former President Barack Obama but have drifted under Trump, who has courted Asian rival China as he seeks Beijing's help to contain North Korea's nuclear programmer.

The deal would still require approval by Congress. California-based General Atomics, the maker of the Guardian drone sought by India, declined to comment.
Modi's two-day visit to Washington begins on Sunday. Trump met Chinese President Xi Jinping in April and has also had face time with the leaders of nations including Japan, Britain and Vietnam since taking office in January, prompting anxiety in New Delhi that India is no longer a priority in Washington.

"We are trying to move it to the top of the agenda as a deliverable, this is something that can happen before all the other items," said one official tracking the progress of the drone discussions in the run-up to the visit.
The Indian Navy wants the unarmed surveillance drones to keep watch over the Indian Ocean. The deal would be the first such purchase by a country that is not a member of the NATO alliance.
India, a big buyer of US arms that was recently named by Washington as a major defense ally, wants to protect its 7,500- km (4,700-mile) coastline as Beijing expands its maritime trade routes and Chinese submarines increasingly lurk in regional waters.
But sources tracking the discussions say the US State Department has been concerned about the potential de-stabilizing impact of introducing high-tech drones into South Asia, where tensions are simmering between India and Pakistan, particularly over Kashmir, which is divided between them.
Other strains have emerged, with the United States vexed by a growing bilateral trade deficit and Trump accusing New Delhi of negotiating unscrupulously at the Paris climate talks to walk away with billions in aid. US officials expect a relatively low-key visit by Modi, without the fanfare of some of his previous trips to the United States, and one geared to giving the Indian leader the chance to get to know Trump personally and to show that he is doing so.
Modi is also not expected to press hard on a US visa programmer the Trump administration is reviewing to reduce the flow of skilled foreign workers and save jobs for Americans, seeing limited gains from raising a sensitive issue, they said.

Falling off the Radar
"There is a palpable fear in New Delhi that the new US president's lack of focus on India, and limited appointment of South Asia focused advisors, has resulted in India falling off the radar in Washington," Eurasia Group's Shailesh Kumar and Sasha Riser-Kositsky said in a note.
Defense deals are one area where the two countries could make progress because of bipartisan support, an Indian official involved in the preparations for the visit said. The two sides have stepped up efforts in recent weeks to get inter-agency clearance for the sale of the Guardian drone.
India has raised the issue of the drones with the Pentagon three times since June 2016, officials said.
US senators John Cornyn and Mark Warner wrote in March to Defense Secretary James Mattis and Secretary of State Rex Tillerson saying the Guardian deal, estimated at more than $2 billion, would advance US national security interests and protect US jobs.
An industry official involved in promoting India-US business ties said the drone sale enjoyed support from the White House and Congress, and was awaiting clearance from the State Department.
While the Guardian drones that India is pushing for are unarmed, the Indian military originally asked for missile-firing Predator Avenger aircraft, a request turned down by the Obama administration.
Sources say there is some concern in the State Department that if India were to get the surveillance drones, New Delhi would renew its push to acquire armed drones, which its military has eyed ever since they were deployed by US forces against militants in Pakistan.
US export laws typically prohibit the transfer of such arms to a country unless it is fighting alongside US forces.
Fighter Jets
India and the United States will also discuss the sale of US fighter jets during Modi's trip, in what could be the biggest deal since they began deepening defense ties more than a decade ago.
On Monday, Lockheed Martin (LMT.N) announced an agreement with India's Tata Advanced Systems to produce F-16 planes in India, provided it won a contract to equip the Indian Air Force with hundreds of new aircraft.
Lockheed has offered to shift its ageing F-16 production line from Fort Worth, Texas, as part of Modi's "Make-in-India" drive while it ramps up production of the high-end F-35 aircraft at home.

Since Trump's election on an "American First" platform, US and Indian officials have sought to play down any contradiction between his stated desire to protect American jobs and Modi's "Make in India" policy, arguing, for example, that deals in which components made in the United States are shipped to India for assembly benefit workers in both countries.

Each minister gets near-free electricity of 50,000 units every year. And free water as well.
The Ministers bungalow is furnished — with air conditioners, refrigerators and television sets — free of cost. Maintenance of the house — including washing of sofa covers and curtains — is done free of cost by the government.

Ministers are entitled to three phone lines and 170,000 free local calls every year.

When a Minister travels abroad officially, he is entitled to free business class air tickets. He is also paid a daily travelling allowance, which varies depending upon the country being visited.

Most medical expenses of Ministers are taken care of by the Contributory Health Service Scheme of the Union government.

World's Top 10 - Best Airports List of top Best 10 in the world...

Here is the list of the world's best airports, based on the 2013 World Airport Awards, announced in the month of April'2013 by leading airline reviewer Skytrax.

The awards, which include categories for best terminal, shopping, security, cleanliness, dining, and more, are determined by public opinion. More than 12 million people responded to this year's survey.

10. London Heathrow Airport (Yearly passengers: 70 million)

Why it's awesome: Despite London Mayor Boris Johnson's concern that Heathrow gives visitors "a terrible impression of the UK," the overcrowded airport made it into Skytrax's top ten.

The third busiest airport in the world in 2012, it took home the awards for Best Airport Shopping and Best Airport Terminal, for T5, which opened in 2008 after a $6.2 billion, 19-year design and construction process.

Heathrow's Skytrax review includes four or five out of five star rankings for ease of use, flight information, public transport, security staff efficiency, and more.

9. Tokyo International Airport (Haneda) (Yearly passengers: 66.8 million)

Why it's awesome: Haneda moved up five places this year, partly thanks to how clean it is. With a third, international terminal that opened in 2010, Haneda can accommodate 90 million passengers annually.

More construction is already in the works: The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport announced plans to expand the new terminal with eight more gates, more parking, and a hotel, by March 2014.

The airport won the Skytrax awards for Best Airport Terminal Cleanliness and World's Best Domestic Airport, and took second place for Best Airport Immigration Service.

8. Vancouver International Airport (Yearly passengers: 17.6 million)

Why it's awesome: The least busy airport in the Skytrax top ten, Vancouver International offers visitors a large collection of Pacific Northwest Coast Native art.

Skytrax named Vancouver International the Best Airport in North America for the fourth year in a row in 2013, a streak that justifies the $1.4 billion the airport spent on recent expansion.

Volunteers, known as Green Coat Ambassadors, work in the airport to help travelers get where they're going.

7. Zurich Airport (Yearly passengers: 24.8 million)

Why it's awesome: The largest international airport in Switzerland, Zurich was significantly expanded in 2003, with a new terminal and an underground, automated train called the Skymetro to shuttle travelers around.

Located 7 miles north of the Zurich city center, this airport also won Best Airport Baggage Delivery in Europe.

The airport offers a porter service where travelers pay a fee to have their bag picked up from anywhere in the airport and delivered to their final destination.

6. Munich Airport (Yearly passengers: 38.4 million)

Why it's awesome: Germany's second busiest airport features aesthetically pleasing terminals on the walk to the gate. Many of the walls and ceilings are made of glass, making the airport feel large and open.

The airport, a 45 minute train ride from the Munich city center, was also named the best in Central Europe, and the World's Best Airport for Dining.

5. Beijing Capital International Airport (Yearly passengers: 81.9 million)

Why it's awesome: Already beyond its 78 million passenger annual capacity, Beijing Capital is the busiest airport in Asia and the second busiest in the world, trailing only Atlanta's Hartsfield-Jackson.

That's why the city is building another airport, which will be bigger than JFK, LaGuardia, and Newark combined.

Capital's tallest building, Terminal 3, came in fifth for Best Airport Terminal. It opened in 2008, in time for the Beijing Olympics.

Capital also took second place for Best Baggage Delivery.

4. Hong Kong International Airport (Yearly passengers: 56.1 million)

Why it's awesome: Located less than five flying hours from half of the world's population, Hong Kong's airport is one of the busiest in the world.

It didn't win any awards, but it landed in the top five for dining, shopping, cleanliness, and leisure amenities.

In March 2012, the airport decided to add a third runway to increase its capacity.

Hong Kong International also offers a nine-hole golf course, a great place for travelers to spend long layovers.

3. Amsterdam Schiphol (Yearly passengers: 51 million)

Why it's awesome: Schiphol opened in 1916 as a military airfield and has now transformed into one of the busiest airports in the world.

While travelers wait for their flight departures, they can enjoy a massage, play a game of poker at the casino, and catch up on some reading at the airport library.

According to Skytrax, Schiphol also has excellent dining and shopping options.

2. Incheon International Airport (Yearly passengers: 39.2 million)

Why it's awesome: Incheon, the largest airport in South Korea, serves passengers on more than 70 airlines, and is one of only three airlines to receive a five-star overall rating from Skytrax.

Every year from 2005 to 2012, it was rated as the world's top airport by Airports Council International.

The young airport — it opened in March 2001 — is home to a museum of Korean culture, and has excellent rankings for cleanliness, external views, rest areas, internet access, and local food choices.

1. Singapore Changi Airport (Yearly passengers: 51.2 million)

Why it's awesome: Changi is designed to alleviate the stress of travel, and offers passengers the chance to enjoy lots of greenery, an outdoor pool, and a butterfly garden.

For those who prefer to stay inside, it also houses movie theaters, spas, showers, and a four-story slide.

Find who are the Worlds 10 Most Expensive Dog Breeds - List is here!!

Below you will find our countdown of the worlds most expensive dog breeds and also find out what the most expensive dog ever sold to date was…. This popular post has been fully updated for 2011.

The most popular dog breeds are not the worlds most expensive dog breeds, but the luxury dogs rate high in the top of the list. Popular dog breeds change from year to year and from country to country; and so do the most expensive dogs in the world.
What Makes a Dog Expensive?

There are a variety of factors which make dogs expensive. Purity of breed or their rarity can make dogs extremely expensive. When they are offspring from prize winning dogs the prices can skyrocket too, but the biggest factor is the C-factor. As soon as a dog is spotted or photographed in possession of a celebrity, the dog’s price will shoot beyond the moon. It has happened in the past, and it will happen in the future.

The most expensive dog ever sold

The most expensive dog ever sold was recently in March 2011, a red “Tibetan mastiff” called Big Splash, or “Hong Dong” in Chinese. This most expensive dog ever is already 11 months-old and already stands nearly three-feet-high at the shoulder and weighs more than 180lbs, says his breeder, Lu Liang. He was purchased by a chinese multi-millionaire coal baron.

‘Big Splash’ sold for an amazing 10 million Yuan which is about 1.5 million US Dollars and beats the earlier record set by another Tibetan Mastiff Tibetan mastiff” called Yangtze River Number Two which was sold to a chinese woman in 2009 for a whopping 4 million Yuan (About $609,000). But this still doesn’t make the Tibetan Mastiff generally the most expensive dog breed.

Top Ten of Expensive Dogs
Roaming along the internet, in a variety of countries here is a countdown of the top ten most expensive dog breeds our editors found.

10 – Akita: Ok so in at No.10 for the most expensive dog breeds is the Japanese Akita which can sell for between $1,500 – $4,500

9 – Bearded Collie: At No.9 in our list of the worlds most expensive dogs is bearded Collie which can be sold for between $1,000 and $5,000

8 – Pharaoh Hound: In at No.8 of the most expensive dog breed is the Pharaoh hound which can fetch between $2,500 – $6,500

7 – Tibetan Mastiff: At No.7 in our list is the Tibetan Mastiff which can usually go for around $2,200 – $7,000. Now although one of these was sold for a whopping $1.5 million it still doesn’t make it as generally the most expensive dog breed.

6– Rottweiler: The Rottweiler makes it to number 6 in our most expensive dogs list at between $2,000 – $8,000

5 – Chow Chow: At No.5 of our list is the Chow-Chow a chinese breed which can fetch between $3,000 – $8,500

4 – English Bulldog: The good Ole English Bulldog or ‘British Bulldog’ as it’s know in the UK is at no.4 of our most expensive dogs breeds at between $2,500 – $9,000.. And now wait for it, the top 3 most expensive dog breeds… drumroll please….!!!

3 – Samoyed: The Samoyed which originates from Siberia is our No.3 selection which can be bought for between $4,000 – $11,000

2 – Cavalier King Charles Spaniel: And 2nd in our ‘Top Dog’ list is the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel from England which can sell for a princely sum of between $1,000 – $14,000.

1 – German Shepherd (Alsatian):

In at No.1 as the most expensive dog breed in the world has to be the very versatile Alsation which can fetch anything between $3,000 – $24,000..

So there it is. An exciting list of dog breeds, and unfortunately some very popular dogs did not make it to the top ten.

What happened to the Golden Retriever, Komondor, Malteser Terrier, Bichon Frise, Norfolk Terrier, Staffordshire Terrier, Yorkshire Terrier and the Australian Shepherd? All popular dogs but they did not make it into the top ten of most expensive dogs 2011. Worlds Most Expensive Dog Breed

The winner is the German Shepherd, a trustworthy dog which has proven it’s capacity to be trained beyond the scope of many other dogs. The German Shepherd can be trained as a rescue dog, drug sniffer and as guidance dog for the visual impaired. Not a wonder that he/she claims the top of the list of the most expensive dogs in the world. A dog training institute in Germany sells their German Shepherds for a cool $24,000, they claim to train the best rescue dogs in the world.

Top 20 Scariest and Horror Movies of All Time - List is Here

Looking for Top 20 Scariest and Horror Movies of All Time - List is Here for the best and top most 20 movies which were scary and horror.

THE SHINING (1980)

Directed by Stanley Kubrick

Kubrick's adaptation of Stephen King's novel about the Torrance family's headlong plunge into insanity during a secluded Colorado winter remains better known for its T-shirt quotables (''Heeeere's Johnny!''''All work and no play make Jack a dull boy'') than as a beautiful and pleasing horror film. It's a shame. With a haunting score, luscious, near-eternal Steadicam shots, and Jack Nicholson's grand pirouette into murderous madness at its heart, it's one of the most artful horror films in history.

THE EXORCIST (1973)

Directed by William Friedkin

A cat unexpectedly jumping from off camera is scary. But The Exorcist is so disturbing it will mess you up for months. Controversial and profane, The Exorcist remains the most viscerally harrowing movie ever made, not only because it dares to question the existence of God but because it has the cojones to put Satan in the body of a 12-year-old girl.

THE TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE (1974)

Directed by Tobe Hooper

Truth is stranger than fiction...and it's a hell of a lot scarier, too. Based (like much ofPsycho) on the horrific ritual murders committed by Ed Gein, Chainsaw looks, feels, and smells so much like a grainy, low-budget documentary that it borders on snuff. Hooper says that when he settled on the film's title, ''I lost several friends. But I thought, they're putting so much energy into hating the title, maybe there's something there.'' Indeed there is; a copy of Chainsaw resides in the Museum of Modern Art.

THE SILENCE OF THE LAMBS (1991)

Directed by Jonathan Demme

As Dr. Hannibal Lecter, Anthony Hopkins is a waking nightmare of seductive depravity — the sick, twisted serial killer America hates to love. Even with Hannibal the Cannibal safely locked away in his maximum-security cell, Jodie Foster's FBI trainee Clarice Starling is as helpless as a lamb. ''Great villains are subversive — audiences go and see them because they feel uncomfortably attracted to them,'' says Scott Glenn, who plays Starling's seen-it-all FBI mentor in Silence. ''To this day I still have nightmares about it.''

JAWS (1975)

Directed by Steven Spielberg.
''Is it true that most people get attacked by sharks in about three feet of water?'' When this doom-drenched gem — the highest-grossing film on our list — hit theaters, it gave new meaning to the phrase red tide. Weeks over schedule and dizzyingly over budget,Jaws caused Spielberg more than his share of headaches — especially due to his temperamental star. No, not Richard Dreyfuss, but Bruce, the 24-foot-long malfunctioning animatronic great white named after Spielberg's lawyer. ''The fact that the shark didn't work was an artistic blessing in disguise,'' says Spielberg. ''It forced me to be Hitchcockian.''

THE RING (2002)

Directed by Gore Verbinski

Few supernatural films have proven to be as unwittingly grounded in reality as The Ring. Released back when SARS was a particularly crappy Scrabble attempt and ''bird flu'' something that Heckle gave to Jeckle, The Ring has aged into a rare kind of thriller, one with frights that not only hold up years later, but are heightened, thanks to subsequent real-life events. With its virus-like ''villain'' (a mysterious tape that's passed from one victim to the next) and the slow-build physical deterioration it causes (nosebleeds, hallucinations), Gore Verbinski's box office hit now seems culturally clairvoyant in our disease-distressed times.

HALLOWEEN (1978)

Directed by John Carpenter

The original Halloween is, was, and ever shall be the alpha and omega of bogeyman flicks. It also remains one of the most profitable indie films of all time — costing a mere $300,000 and pulling in more than $55 million. The influence of Psycho (''It's the granddaddy of all horror movies,'' says Carpenter) is everywhere — from the tiniest details (Donald Pleasence's Dr. Sam Loomis is named after Janet Leigh's boyfriend inPsycho) to the casting of Jamie Lee Curtis as Halloween's shrieking heroine and babysitter in peril. ''It didn't hurt that Janet Leigh was her mom,'' says Carpenter, ''because everyone's a fan of Psycho.'' And Halloween.

PSYCHO (1960)

Directed by Alfred Hitchcock
A charter member of the scary movie hall of fame. Many of its most renowned features are readily apparent: those startling cuts (more than 50 in the shower sequence alone), Anthony Perkins' neurotic mama's boy, Bernard Herrmann's shrieking-violins score. ButPsycho's sneakiest tricks manifest themselves more subtlely. Take Hitchcock's decision to use a handful of different stabbers in Janet Leigh's slice-and-dice sequence: ''He kept changing it so the audience wouldn't be able to get a fix on Mother,'' Leigh, who spent seven days in that shower, told EW in 1999. ''At one point it was Tony's stand-in, at one point it was a woman. Never Tony.'' Bottom line: It still works.

SEVEN (1995)

Directed by David Fincher
From the jittery, scratched celluloid of its opening credits onward, Seven oozes more apocalyptic doom and deranged creativity than any Brad Pitt movie has a right to. Before this film came out, gluttonygreedslothenvywrathpride, and lust were just intangible words uttered in Sunday school. From its bleak, rainy setting to an unshakably grim finale, Seven is so nihilistic and disturbing it's hard to fathom how it ever got greenlit. We mean that as a compliment.

ROSEMARY'S BABY (1968)

Directed by Roman Polanski
More conspiracy thriller than horror movie, Baby nurses a mother lode of phobias. As Rosemary (Mia Farrow) slowly intuits she's been raped by Satan, she wrestles a myriad of believable demons: uncaring doctors, intrusive neighbors (primarily Ruth Gordon, who copped an Oscar), and a monstrously self-centered husband (John Cassavetes). Farrow's alarming enactment of emaciated desperation got a spur from then-husband Frank Sinatra's off-screen behavior: She was devastated when he initiated a divorce in mid-production.

POLTERGEIST (1982)

Directed by Tobe Hooper
Based on a story by Steven Spielberg, Poltergeist was released just one week beforeE.T., and it seemed like the latter movie's evil twin. Both were tales of suburban California families whose lives are upended by otherworldly invaders, but while E.T.seemed a Christian parable of death and resurrection, Poltergeist had a more sinister take on the afterlife. That three of the franchise's stars suffered untimely deaths led to talk of an off-screen curse, which surviving cast members dismiss and refuse to discuss, but which makes the film that much creepier.

28 DAYS LATER (2003)

Directed by Danny Boyle

Boyle's post-apocalyptic thriller pushed the envelope in two major ways. The first was its introduction of ''fast zombies.'' In almost all previous incarnations, the undead lumbered like slow-walking trees, arms raised at 90-degree angles, moaning for brains. But in 28 Days Later, they moved like rabid, caffeinated jackals. It was new, bold, utterly terrifying. Boyle's second twist was having his zombies not be zombies, per se, but infected people. When Cillian Murphy awakens in an abandoned hospital, the plague that's turned London into a no-man's-land isn't something out of a horror film we've seen a million times before; it's something far scarier.

A NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET (1984)

Directed by Wes Craven
The screen debut of the character who gave striped sweaters a bad name, Nightmareintroduces a suburban monster who stalks teens while they sleep. Craven makes the most banal aspects of adolescence hellish, whether it's turning the sanctity of childhood bedrooms into murder zones or a phone into a demonic tongue. Freddy eventually turned into an all-too-jokey shadow of himself — but there's nothing funny about him in this first installment. Bonus: A young Johnny Depp gets eaten alive by a bed.

THE THING (1982)

Directed by John Carpenter

A loose remake of Howard Hawks' 1951 sci-fi Cold War allegory, Carpenter's Thing isn't concerned with messages; it's just a terrifying meditation on paranoia and subzero dread as a group of scientists at the South Pole (led by Kurt Russell) is infiltrated by an alien that assumes the bodies of its victims in very messy ways. And despite its many gross-out F/X, no moment in the movie is more unsettling than watching cuddly Quaker Oatmeal pitchman Wilford Brimley go insane. Carpenter is frankly surprised by the film's latter-day esteem. ''When The Thing was released,'' he says, ''it was one of the most hated movies of all time.'' Time to set the record straight.

THE EVIL DEAD (1982)

Directed by Sam Raimi

Before he was the webmaster of the Spider-Man franchise, Sam Raimi was a college dropout with $385,000 and a nightmare. Plotwise, The Evil Dead is just your basic ''kids at a remote cabin in the woods foolishly read forbidden book and unleash demons'' movie. But the result was a template for a generation of horror filmmakers, thanks to the wry Bruce Campbell (as ''Ash'' Williams, in the performance that made him a cult horror hero), those predatory trees, and Raimi's wickedly inventive direction. As he told EW, ''When we made Evil Dead, I wanted [viewers] to jump and scream and feel my wrath!'' We're still feeling it.

CARRIE (1976)

Directed by Brian De Palma
De Palma's adaptation of Stephen King's first novel is set in the lurid, oversexed world of high school, where persecuted telekinetic Carrie White (Sissy Spacek) transcends catty rivals and a psychotically religious mother (Piper Laurie) to become prom queen — only to be doused in pig's blood, go on a murderous rampage, and kill just about everyone. ''I got tricked into doing [Carrie],'' says Laurie, who, like Spacek, won an Oscar nomination. ''It seemed so over-the-top, I thought it was going to be a satire. When De Palma stopped me in rehearsals, my heart just dropped. Whoops!'' Pioneering moment: the best final scare ever. Period.

NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD (1968)

Directed by George A. Romero

The horror movie whose zombie escapades inspired a thousand more, Dead was filmed in black and white for about $100,000, some of which was reportedly contributed by lead actor Russell Streiner. Although the film, about radiation-poisoned corpses on the hunt for fresh meat, was made on the cheap (any flub in the sound was covered with the chirping of crickets), the total gross has been estimated to be as high as $50 million. Because of legal problems with the original distributor, the filmmakers saw only a tiny fraction of the grosses, inspiring a remake in 1990. Stick with the original — the Blair Witch Project of its day.

THE OMEN (1976)

Directed by Richard Donner

Someday, an enterprising film student will write a master's thesis on why the Nixon-Ford era spawned the cinematic unholy trinity of Rosemary's BabyThe Exorcist, and The Omen. Until then, let's just picture the last of those demon seeds, Damien (Harvey Stephens) — the tiny Antichrist with the 666 devil sign on his scalp — maniacally pedaling his tricycle and knocking Lee Remick over the second-floor railing to the menacing strains of ''Ave Satani.''''That boy was putty to direct...just a dream,'' says Donner, who adds, ''A lot of people were afraid to see The Omen because The Exorcistscared the s--- out of them so much.''

AN AMERICAN WEREWOLF IN LONDON (1981)

Directed by John Landis

Poor David Naughton. He seems to be starring in a madcap romantic comedy as an American backpacker who woos lovely British nurse Jenny Agutter. But then his zombie pal Griffin Dunne keeps reappearing, each time in a state of further decomposition, warning David that he must commit suicide before he becomes a werewolf at the next full moon. What a buzz kill. The movie's blend of comedy and horror isn't always successful, and its ending seems abrupt, but its scary parts are certainly scream-worthy. The werewolf attacks, shot from the predator's point of view, are chillers, but best is Naughton's excruciating, horrifyingly realistic transformation scene, maybe the best in any werewolf movie.

HENRY: PORTRAIT OF A SERIAL KILLER (1990)

Directed by John McNaughton

One of those horror movies where the low budget actually helps — lending a rough, documentary look to the proceedings — Henry follows the titular character and his hee-haw partner in homicide, Otis, on a spree that includes one nightmarish scene in which the two murder a helpless family, then sit back to watch a videotape of the crime. ''Once I was late for a screening and bumped into a lady running away from the movie,'' says Michael Rooker (Henry), ''and she ran smack into me and just screamed and screamed!''

World's Top 10 Coldest County - List of Top 10 Coldest Countries in the World

Canada - Cold WeatherWe all can stand the searing heat, and drink lots of water to keep ourselves hydrated. Yet when it comes to the cold, there is something very mysterious about it that makes it one of the most unbearable things ever.  Keeping that in mind let us take a look at the top 10 coldest countries of the world in no particular order!

List of Top 10 Cold Places in the World:

10 – Mongolia

Mongolia - Cold Weather Condition

Mongolia’s winters are extremely harsh with temperatures dropping to almost minus twenty degrees. The temperature remains above freezing point from April to October however.

9 – Estonia

Estonia - Winter Season

Even though it does not get extremely cold in Estonia, the precipitation can make it unbearable. Rain is very random and can come at any given time, causing substantial declines in temperature, in any season of the year.

8 – Iceland

Iceland - Cold Place

The name is literal folks, the name of this country should easily give away the fact of how cold it can get. On average the southern parts of this country never receive a temperature of over zero degrees. In the winters it can get to a very excruciating minutes ten degrees.

7 – Kazakhstan

Kazakhstan - Cold Weather

Astana is the coldest place in Kazakhstan, which receives insane amounts of rainfall in the winters. The temperature drops make it virtually impossible for a person to step outside of his house. The risk of frost bite is very great as well. However the summers of Kazakhstan are quite warm.

6 – Finland

Finland - Cold Weather:Snow Field

With temperatures that can drop to as low as minus twenty degrees, Finland is covered in snow for about four months of its winter season. However, the summers in Finland are rather warm and pleasing.

5 – Greenland

Supercomputers - World's Top 10 Supercomputers and Countries

worlds fastest supercomputer taihulight 1In the latest rankings, the Sunway TaihuLight, a system developed by China’s National Research Center of Parallel Computer Engineering & Technology (NRCPC) and installed at the National Supercomputing Center in Wuxi, maintains its top position. With a Linpack performance of 93 petaflops, TaihuLight is far and away the most powerful number-cruncher on the planet.
Tianhe-2, (Milky Way-2), a system developed by China’s National University of Defense Technology (NUDT) and deployed at the National Supercomputer Center in Guangzho, China, occupies the number two position with a Linpack mark of 33.9 petaflops.  Tianhe-2 was the number one system in the TOP500 list for three consecutive years, until TaihuLight eclipsed it in June 2016.

The new number three supercomputer is the upgraded Piz Daint, a Cray XC50 system installed at the Swiss National Supercomputing Centre (CSCS). The upgrade was accomplished with additional NVIDIA Tesla P100 GPUs, doubling the Linpack performance of the system’s previous mark of 9.8 petaflops in November 2016, which itself was the result of a significant upgrade. Piz Daint’s current Linpack result of 19.6 petaflops enabled the system to climb five positions in the rankings.
As a result of the Piz Daint upgrade, Titan, a Cray XK7 system installed at the Department of Energy’s (DOE) Oak Ridge National Laboratory, drops to number four in the rankings. Its Linpack mark of 17.6 petaflops has remained constant since it was installed in 2012.
Rounding out the top 10 are:
  • Sequoia (17.2 petaflops), an IBM BlueGene/Q system installed at the DOE’s Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, at number five;
  • Cori (14.0 petaflops), a Cray XC40 system housed at the National Energy Research Scientific Computing Center (NERSC), at number six;
  • Oakforest-PACS (13.6 petaflops), a Fujitsu PRIMERGY system running at Japan’s Joint Center for Advanced High Performance Computing, at number seven;
  • Fujitsu’s K computer (10.5 petaflops), installed at the RIKEN Advanced Institute for Computational Science (AICS), at number eight;
  • Mira (8,6 petaflops), an IBM BlueGene/Q system installed at DOE’s Argonne National Laboratory, at number nine; and
  • Trinity (8.1 petaflops), a Cray XC40 system running at Los Alamos National Laboratory, at number ten.
With the two Chinese supercomputers and one Swiss system occupying the top of the rankings, this is the second time in the 24-year history of the TOP500 list that the United States has failed to secure any of the top three positions. The only other time this occurred was in November 1996, when three Japanese systems captured the top three spots.

Updates

  • 21.06.2017
    • removed Endeavor system (was #226)
    • Updated HPCG number for TaihuLight
    • Various name and Rpeak updates, no impact on ranking

World's Smallest Ocean - Geography of the World's Oceans

An ocean is a large body of water that is saline. Oceans are a major component of the Earth's hydrosphere and cover 71% of the Earth's surface. Although the oceans of the Earth are all connected and are truly one "World Ocean," most often the world is divided into five different oceans.

The following list is arranged by size.

01: Pacific Ocean

The Pacific Ocean is by far the world's largest ocean at 60,060,700 square miles (155,557,000 sq km). According to the CIA World Factbook, it covers 28% of the Earth and is equal in size to nearly all of the land area on the Earth. The Pacific Ocean is located between the Southern Ocean, Asia and Australia and the Western Hemisphere. It has an average depth of 13,215 feet (4,028 m) but its deepest point is the Challenger Deep within Mariana Trench near Japan. This area is also the deepest point in the world at -35,840 feet (-10,924 m). The Pacific Ocean is important to geography not only because of its size but it has been a major historical route of exploration and migration.

02: Atlantic Ocean

The Atlantic Ocean is the world's second-largest ocean with an area of 29,637,900 square miles (76,762,000 sq km). It is located between Africa, Europe, the Southern Ocean and the Western Hemisphere. It includes the includes other water bodies such as the Baltic Sea, Black Sea, Caribbean Sea, Gulf of Mexico, Mediterranean Sea and the North Sea. The average depth of the Atlantic Ocean is 12,880 feet (3,926 m) and the deepest point is the Puerto Rico Trench at -28,231 feet (-8,605 m). The Atlantic Ocean is important to the world's weather (as are all oceans) because strong Atlantic hurricanes are known to develop off the coast of Cape Verde, Africa and move toward the Caribbean Sea from August to November.

03: Indian Ocean

The Indian Ocean is the world's third-largest ocean and it has an area of 26,469,900 square miles (68,566,000 sq km). It is located between Africa, the Southern Ocean, Asia and Australia. The Indian Ocean has an average depth of 13,002 feet (3,963 m) and the Java Trench is its deepest point at -23,812 feet (-7,258 m). The waters of the Indian Ocean also include water bodies such as the Andaman, Arabian, Flores, Java and Red Seas as well as the Bay of Bengal, Great Australian Bight, Gulf of Aden, Gulf of Oman, Mozambique Channel and the Persian Gulf. The Indian Ocean is known for causing the monsoonal weather patterns that dominate much of southeast Asia and for having waters that have been historical chokepoints.

04: Southern Ocean

The Southern Ocean is the world's newest and fourth-largest ocean. In the spring of 2000, the International Hydrographic Organization decided to delimit a fifth ocean. In doing so, boundaries were taken from the Pacific, Atlantic and Indian Oceans. The Southern Ocean extends from the coast of Antarctica to 60 degrees south latitude. It has a total area of 7,848,300 square miles (20,327,000 sq km) and an average depth ranging from 13,100 to 16,400 feet (4,000 to 5,000 m). The deepest point in the Southern Ocean is unnamed but it is in the south end of the South Sandwich Trench and has a depth of -23,737 feet (-7,235 m). The world's largest ocean current, the Antarctic Circumpolar Current moves east and is 13,049 miles (21,000 km) in length.

05: Arctic Ocean

Polar Bear Arctic

The Arctic Ocean is the world's smallest with an area of 5,427,000 square miles (14,056,000 sq km). It extends between Europe, Asia and North America and most of its waters are north of the Arctic Circle. Its average depth is 3,953 feet (1,205 m) and its deepest point is the Fram Basin at -15,305 feet (-4,665 m). Throughout most of the year, much of the Arctic Ocean is covered by a drifting polar icepack that is an average of ten feet (three meters) thick. However, as the Earth's climate changes, the polar regions are warming and much of the icepack melts during the summer months. In terms of geography, the Northwest Passage and the Northern Sea Route have been important areas of trade and exploration.

Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macau bridge - Finally Opened to Public

Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macau bridge - Officially opened on 1 January'2018. Longest ever Sea Bridge in the World with 65 KM. Connecting Hong Kong to Macau and Zhuhai in China.

First traffic to cross Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macau bridge in 2018, according to Chief Secretary Matthew Cheung. Bridge was originally scheduled to open in 2016 but construction of Hong Kong section was delayed.

A much-delayed mega cross-border sea-crossing, the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macau bridge, will open to traffic some time in 2018, according to the city’s No 2 official, Matthew Cheung Kin-chung.

The chief secretary wrote on his official blog on Sunday that the three governments had been striving to have the bridge construction completed by the end of 2017.

“We shall continue to work out the border control arrangements. [Upon completion of those], we shall report to the central government for it to decide the opening date. We shall make [that date] public as soon as practicable after the decision is made,” Cheung wrote.

The bridge was originally scheduled to open in 2016 but construction of the Hong Kong section, which links the main bridge to Chek Lap Kok island, was held up for almost a year at the outset after a resident filed a judicial review against the environmental assessment impacts of the project.

Eventually launched in 2011, the project has been blighted by workplace accidents, a corruption investigation, construction obstacles and budget overruns.

Hongkongers will need to pay HK$2.36 billion (US$302 million) to cover the city’s share of the cost overrun in the construction of the bridge, the government said last week.

The 55km crossing, which consists of three cable-stayed bridges and an undersea tunnel, is part of a broader push by the central government to integrate the Pearl River Delta region, also known as the Greater Bay Area. The bridge will put the three cities of Zhuhai, Macau, and Hong Kong within an hour’s commute of each other.

On his blog, Cheung said two other major cross-border infrastructure projects – the Guangzhou-Shenzhen-Hong Kong Express Rail Link and Liantang-Heung Yuen Wai Boundary Control Point – would also be completed in 2018.

While the express rail links up with the high-speed rail network of mainland China, the new control point will connect the so-called Eastern Corridor in Shenzhen, linking up with eastern Guangdong.

With improved links on both banks of the Pearl River Delta, this would consolidate Hong Kong’s role as a key gateway of mainland China, Cheung said.

Great barrier reefThe World's Largest Coral Reefs - The Earth's Ten Largest Coral Reefs

A coral reef is a submerged structure made up of many different corals, or small marine invertebrates. These corals are unable to move and cluster with other corals to form colonies. These colonies then secrete calcium carbonate that causes them to bind together to form the reef. Each of these individual animals is also covered with a hard exoskeleton which makes coral reefs appear very strong and rock-like.

Coral reefs vary in size, type, and location around the world but they are very sensitive to water properties like temperature and chemical composition. Nearly all of the world’s coral reefs, particularly the largest reefs, are in the tropics.

The following is a list of the world’s ten largest coral reefs arranged by their length.

P.S: Note that the last three reefs are listed by their area. The Great Barrier Reef, however, is the largest reef in the world based on both area (134,363 square miles or 348,000 sq km) and length.
